Hello everybody.  I have two questions to ask and I hope someone can give me
some good information.  I am in the process of setting of a 55 gallon reef
tank for my science class.  I am at the point where I am ready to add live
rock and live sand.  I'm looking at either Fiji or ...

I have a 75 gallon aquarium with 60lbs of live rock. I'm looking to replace
my junky Sea Clone protein skimmer. Since I do not have a sump I'll have to

? In my books, they suggest aywhere from 1 to 6 weeks depending on the

Hey guys, I was thinking how many times we see things and wonder what they are
called, so I've been working on an ID page for my site.  These are all creatures
in my tanks; pictures that I've taken.  As I acquire more, the page will be
updated.

I noticed my yellow tang was dead this morning when I checked the
tank.  He was wedged under a rock, and when I lifted it he only
floated with the current.  I gave him a proper funeral and pulled the
flush handle.  I bought him about two weeks ago from a LFS in NJ. I

I bought a serpent star yesterday and when I got home today all 5 of
it's arms were gone the starfish was dead.
Has anyone else had similar experience?

Can anyone recommend a few good websites that fully explain how a DSB
works in a marine system? My LFS guy just doesn't get it and I've done
a search for sites explaining how it works but I can't seem to hook up
with anything half decent.
