dedicated 20A circuit with a GFCI for me)
Now, with the chiller pulling the water down from a steamy 90F to 80F, I am
ready to drop a shrimp into the water to make ammonia and cycle the tank.

One of my hermit crabs died in a rather out of the way place where I was not
able to remove him from the tank.  I watched my levels every day while he
was decomposing and they stayed in line, no ammonia, no nitrites, nitrates
were less then 10, ph at 8.0, SG 1.00022 (yeah, I am ...

I replaced my Seaclone piece of junk last Friday with an Aqua C Remora Pro
with the skim box and Mag 3 pump. Everything is setup and level. Per the
instructions I washed the unit in warm water prior to installing it to
clean off oils from the manufacturing process.

and the only thing that croaked was a common starfish.  But I was
lucky and had done a 40% water change the day before the storm, and
both tanks only had a couple of fish in each.  The odd thing is the
damsels look more stressed than the percula clown.  I figure what did

Algae eating organisms04 Aug 2003 14:03 GMT2
I've completed curing 65 lbs. of live rock in my 55 g. aquarium.  Water
tests show ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH numbers to be at proper
levels.  I have noticed some brown algae forming in small patches here and
there in the aquarium.  I'm assuming that now would be a good ...
