help with overflow design02 Oct 2003 13:08 GMT3
I'd like comments on this design.
I have a standard 55 gallon. I'm wondering if drilling a hole for a
1.5 " bulkhead about 6" from the top of the tank, a 90% elbow and
standpipe would work? I'd like to reduce the exit of the bulkhead

Via Aqua Skimmer Filter combo02 Oct 2003 05:39 GMT1
Has any one heard or use this filter and if so how do you like it or do you have any complaints. I currently have a millennium power filter in a small mini reef aquarium and I do have a nitrate problem. Is Via Aqua a good buy for this problem that I have or is it a waste of $$$

the worse.  This past week, it has pretty much refused to eat.  I've been
feeding him raw shrimp from Bi-Lo previously.  My water ...

All, I have been following the list for a while and many thanks to all

Aipitasia wont die01 Oct 2003 12:57 GMT35
Ok, so it first started with one Aipitasia. I thought I killed it with
strong Kalk because it melted away into nothing. Then it came back a few
days later. In the same spot. Now I have three in the reef tank. I have
applied pure kalk powder to all three via a wet Q-tip and they melt ...
Lamonte Harness Test Kits01 Oct 2003 03:43 GMT1
I went to my local Fish Store tonight, I was looking for a test kit. The
person there told me that Lamonte Harness Test Kits, although are more
expensive, is a better kit to buy. Is this true, or Bovine fecol matter.
The kit is for Magnesium , Calcium and Water Hardness.
