I recently came into possesion of an 80 gallon tank with a Rena Filstar xp3 with spray bar and a EBO-JAGER 200 Watt heater. It didn't have a cover or light, or manuals but hey it was all free, and it was working (It had two freakin' huge gold fish in it).

Have recently place a 4 1'2" Crocea clam in the bottom of my 150 gallon reef tank. It sits about 30" away from a 250 watt HQI MH. It has been in the tank for two weeks, and it seemingly continues to expand more and more. I do not believe I have seen many clams this

can I use existing filter, aerators, plants. gravel, etc, add the salt and put in the saltwater fish? 55 gal tank, established fresh for about two years, good water chem levels, giving away all my fresh water friends to people whom I've helped set up tanks.

Hi, I'm about to put some aragonite live sand and coral sand into the tank & get started... I know the coral sand needs to be rinsed but can I rinse it with tap water then RO water?
