How long did it take you....08 Dec 2003 00:21 GMT7
.... to plumb your first tank/sump set-up?
How many trips to Home Depot?
I just spend two and a half days doing mine- included building a three

I currently have a Blue Line Co2 Regulator but have not been able to
get a steady bubble count and I find I'm constantly tweaking it and
never getting good results.
What is a good dual gauge Co2 Regulator to look at?  I would like one
Pair of Clarki Clowns07 Dec 2003 23:54 GMT7
I bought 2 of Sri Lanki (sp) clown fish about 3 years ago. At the time
the were both about 1 inch in size.  Since then one of the fish has
grown to almost 3 inches.  The other has grown to about 1.5 inches.
They are constantly together in an anemone and protect eachother.  I

I am running 400w 10,000K Ushios' and it's time to replace them. I've
been considering the 10,000K AB bulbs. Has anyone experienced the
difference between these two bulbs? My ballast is a standard Dual

buffer problem07 Dec 2003 04:12 GMT5
Hi folks.  I haven't visited the NG for a while, but I seem to be having a
little bit of a problem, and thought I'd give it a try.  I'm having trouble
maintaining dKH, but I'm not sure if it's a big problem.  I'm recently
having to add buffer more often to maintain the desired level ...

Alge disintegrates05 Dec 2003 23:02 GMT5
I have given and received calupas (sp?) of different kinds.  About 50%
of the time they do well and the other half they turn clear and
disintegrate.  It can be very frustrating.
Can anyone tell me why this happens and what you can do, if anything,

Snowflake Eel05 Dec 2003 20:48 GMT6
What size tank is best for a full grown Snowflake Eel?  I currently have him
in a 20 gallon, but plan to turn my 50 gallon freshwater into a salt tank
soon.  I was told over the weekend that even that was much to small.  Also,
at full size, would it be safe to keep clowns, and ...

Cooling- sump vs hood05 Dec 2003 15:31 GMT3
My clip on fan just quit on me.  It is one of those student clip on types.
It was clipped on to a riser pipe pointing to the back of my aquarium hood.
Underneath the hood I have ~ 650 watts of lighting in the PC/Halide flavor.
Using this setup I have been able to maintain 78 degrees ...
