sump for 33g04 Dec 2003 21:23 GMT3
keeping it super simple without rebuilding my stand, I can fit a 10g tank
under my display 33g tank, I'm just wondering if it's worth the hassle
inventing a sump setup for it. I'm leaning towards yes because my filter
right now is a fluval 304 which is sounding out to be bad news ...
Are the BLUE TANG and REGAL TANG the same?04 Dec 2003 19:47 GMT1
I saw a 'Regal Tang' at London Zoo in February, it was what I was most
taken by in the whole place, in fact my eyes filled with tear and I
went back to it later. I wrote a poem using it as a symbol, but while
researching this fish I've seen basically two different fish and
Still Planning04 Dec 2003 19:45 GMT4
The plan is going along with relative few problems, so I'm now looking at a
Qtank.... The main tank will be a 29g, and the Qtank will be a 10g.
What do you have for lights? Live Rock on bare bottom?  Any filtration
whatsoever?
Lighting - a daft question?04 Dec 2003 19:35 GMT7
Why are marine Metal Halides so expensive when compared with  a standard
400W Metal Halide 'high-bay' lights used in Industry at a fraction of the
cost?
Has anybody tried using Xenon or Halogen lighting over a reef tank? Could

This will probably be a stupid question, but when adding "Live Rock" to my

Anyone using diatomic earth filter04 Dec 2003 14:19 GMT3

Powerheads and water flow04 Dec 2003 13:20 GMT3
Hi, I have a Wavemaster Pro, and I have been using Hagen 301 powerheads.
I now have a sump, wth a Mag 7 with about 4 feet of head, but am still
using the powerheads to get more flow.  The Hagens start a little loud,

reef going past a couple of mushrooms and polyps.
Looking to revitalize it now as the  d i v o r c e  finalizes....
