Emperor Angel in a couple of weeks and was wondering,i have a fluval
304 on my tank with a prizm pro protein skimmer amd 40 pounds of live
rock and my problem is my high nitrates (40 ppm).I cant seem to figure

   Have any of you read the complete book of the marine aquarium by
Hargreaves, Vincent (Interpet Publising) ?  if so, does it come recommended.
   By the way, i always ignore the "complete" part in titles.  No book is
complete.

I have read up on these, they are listed as reef safe. I am
considering adding one to my tank, but I read that they might bother
small shrimp. I have two blood shrimp and a pistol. Anyone have exp
with these or an opinion of the risk?

I have a 55 gal marine (fish only) aquarium. I had to move my tank due
to getting new carpet. I was having problem with a purplish brown
algae and losing fish anyway, so I emptied the tank to move it and
start over. I have about 10 lbs of live rock that I put in a 5 gal
