What would be the best way to clean the inside of my marine tank? Should I
use the same sponge on a stick type things that you use on fresh water

I was given a 50gal plastic rain barrel made by Lee Valley Tools as a
christmas gift.  I am hoping to use it to set up a float valve to store
R/O or mix up SW for water changes.  Are there any types of plastics
that are not safe to use for this purpose?  This dark green plastic

my burgundy sea star literally fell apart.  Three of the four arms fell of.
There is nothing in the tank that is large enough to do this to it.  Is this
common?  Is it just shedding or something?

I'm considering switching my freshwater 75g tank to saltwater.  I would like

has anyone in the group kept one? i read a few things from them being
difficult to easy once acclimated. read they don't ship to good. my lfs
gets other leathers in but never any yellows. thinkin about getting one

My tank is slowly comming around to a full cycle. The tanks ability to
remove ammonia is good, I can add drops of ammonia to read the max on the
scale of the test kit and in 30-45 mins the level drops to the safe area,
and after a few more hours the levels area ll very close to zero ...
