Midwest Distributors???23 Dec 2003 13:59 GMT1
Looking for some info.  We use so much Aquaria product and our bait shop
supplies many, many feeder fish customers, that we are thinking of carrying
25 to 50 of the fastest moving aquaria products to see what the demand might
be.

RO/DI setup23 Dec 2003 00:00 GMT3
My RO/DI unit is coming tomorrow.
I would like to know how some of you have yours setup.
I had planned on buying a big heavy plastic garbage can and filling
that up with the RO/DI water.  Maybe put a heater in it to keep it the
uv sterilizer???22 Dec 2003 20:32 GMT13
What is this thing? Guy at my LFS recommended one. Says its a great thing to
have, makes the skimmer work better also. I get real confused when you go
scientific on me about what things do.
I got 125 gal tank and want to get better filtration so I don't have to
bonding corals22 Dec 2003 19:53 GMT5
i used a epoxy stick to bond a leather coral to a live rock in my 65
gal. it does'nt look bad but i think it would look better repositioned
differently, how much of a problem to try and remove epoxy from rock &
coral to reset again?
Aqua C skimmers22 Dec 2003 17:25 GMT1
Is the Remora Pro essentially the same as the
Urchin Pro except it's a hang on skimmer?
Thanks.
Blackpowder22 Dec 2003 15:07 GMT3
I was just curious when the opinion of this group was on a product called
"Blackpowder".   Does it live up to the claims that it makes in regard to
maximizing growth and color in your tank inhabitants. I look forward to hearing
any comments....thanks :-)
Melafix and protein skimmer problems22 Dec 2003 12:45 GMT9
Hello;
Slightly long post here ...
Last night I dosed my 55 gal tank with Melafix; a short time later the
skimmer (AquaC Remora HOB) started foaming wildly, and has since
Zoanthids pictures22 Dec 2003 12:37 GMT2
These are orange bytors, a little bit larger than a pencil eraser per polyp (or
flower).

These are brand new baby-blues, wth green centers.  I can't believe I scored
Small Starfish - Good or Bad?22 Dec 2003 01:09 GMT34
I've got a small starfish that came in on my live rock or live sand.
So far they're  just in my refugium but I need to know if they're a
harmful kind.  I read an article talking about how bad some are.  I
keep taking them out but for all I know he's harmless.
Vinegar and Aptasia21 Dec 2003 22:01 GMT12
I injected about 2 dozen aptasia with plain white vinegar on the advice of
my LFS. About 90% turned dark purple and died. That was yesterday, I noticed
that this evening one of my Damsels looks like she doesn't have enough
strength to swim on her own. She is swimming, but mostly ...
Feeding corals at night21 Dec 2003 21:42 GMT2
I've been feeding corals at night, with live brine nauptilii (48 hours old,
hatched with yolk sac still connected), Cyclop Eeze, or CoralPlankton (as well
as Phytoplankton every other day like usual).
Lately, I've been trying to feed my corals during the latenight hours.  Tonight
Dieing Rocks are stablising.21 Dec 2003 13:22 GMT5
My poor old Life Rocks that cost me a fortune that quickly started to die
off when I put them in my tank have slowed down their decay rate. I have
kept up the weekly water change and also I have been scrubbing off the dead
stuff, anyhow, my levels of ammonia started to drop last ...
Can Corals Move?21 Dec 2003 06:09 GMT6
Is it normal for corals to move?
I have what I *thought* was a red mushroom.  A pic can be seen here...
