| MH, one or two? | 05 Jan 2004 19:55 GMT | 4 |
First a little background. I have a 65 g tank (36" L,18" W,24" D). Currently I have two small hoods. One houses two 30W normal florescence bulbs and the other four 36W 50/50 PCs. Some time ago I acquired a few corals (green polyps, open brain and a cup coral) and started thinking ...

| Tunze Turbelle | 05 Jan 2004 05:56 GMT | 5 |
I have a 215 gal Oceanic and am looking at the Tunze Turbelle products. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to if the stream kit, with 2 Turbelle stream 6100 2 * 3175 gal and Multicontroller, would be overkill? My concern is that with only one pump, controlling Cyanobacteria will be

Deplorable conditions; sick turtles, snakes and lizards; lack of proper food, heat and lighting; and overcrowding are just some of the complaints that have plagued the Long Island Reptile museum since its opening in 1995. http://www.anc.org/wildlife/wildlife_article ...

| Can I convert an in sump euroReef to be External? | 05 Jan 2004 00:52 GMT | 2 |
I currently have a EV800 by ETSS and I have a EuroReef. CS8-4 I have the EV800 outside, mounted slightly above the sump. I would LIKE to try using the Euroreef in its place. How can I do this? I guess I COULD put a 2nd sump outside, that would freely drain back into

| reef central | 04 Jan 2004 23:52 GMT | 3 |
Has anyone had trouble registering on reef central? It's been nothing but a problem for me. The first time I registered I didn't activate cookies. So I've tried it twice since then with two different e-mails addresses and they won't send my activation e-mail. I've e-mailed them

| Where find 96w smartlite retro online? | 04 Jan 2004 21:38 GMT | 8 |
I've searched high and low and I cannot seem to find a single 96w 36" 50/50 CSL Smartlight retro kit online anywhere. Even my LFS says they don't make them, but I thought they do. I have upgraded my tank from a 25g that had 2x24" 65w PC's (total

| deep blue reef? | 04 Jan 2004 18:43 GMT | 2 |
This is probably a silly question, but is it possible to create a reef tank that has that "deep blue ocean" look to it? What type of lighting would be used, all actinic-03's? And what type of animals could be kept in such a tank?

| Ritteri Anemonie | 04 Jan 2004 18:31 GMT | 8 |
About three weeks ago I upgraded from 95 W PC to 400W MH. My Ritteri only expands to about 1/3 his normal open size and is not eating well. This started about a week ago. Do you think he's just adjusting to the light or do I have a bigger problem. Also put in a skimmer about a week ...
