Can someone tell me if it is possible to destroy all of my husband's reef
aquariums with a cup full of liquid bleach? If not, what would you
recommend? I will go with the bleach if I do not receive any replies.

Possibly sick clown...04 Jan 2004 09:06 GMT2
I’m looking for advice on possible diagnoses and treatment for a
possibly sick clown and gramma in my reef tank.  Trouble is, the
symptoms are rather non-specific; I’m afraid I “shocked” them doing a
water change and so wonder if I can/should do anything other than let
EM tablets04 Jan 2004 08:59 GMT5
I have recent outbreaks of red slime and GHA while my levels are all good,
ammonia = 0, Nitrites = 0, Nitrates <10.  I would like to treat my 37G with
EM tablets to take care of the red slime and get a fish to eat the GHA.  My
tank is FOWLR, lots of mushrooms, 3 clowns, 2 turbo ...

Question about lights04 Jan 2004 07:29 GMT8
Marc, I read in one of your posts that you used some PC bulbs you picked up
from Home Depot. I picked up 2 75 watt ones today and they make the water
looks sort of yellow. Do you use the regular or soft glow or does that even
matter?
Subdued MH lighting 04 Jan 2004 06:12 GMT4
Have installed 2 x 150wt - 20k MH over my 6x2x2 reef tank this afternoon...
Am a little disappointed at this stage as I thought that it would really
light the tank up (saw the same setup in the shop - had a Big Wow factor!) -
Am also running 4 rows of actinics... (Without these, the ...

Specific Gravity03 Jan 2004 22:21 GMT7
I would like to know where everyone runs their Specific Gravity at?  I am
using a refractometer that is temperature compensated so am I correct to
believe this is an accurate reading of the true SG when the water sample is
tested?

Lighting ?03 Jan 2004 20:21 GMT3

175W MH or should I upgrade the whole thing to 2 - 250W. Will I have
problems with burning the coral if I increase the wattage sine ...
