I see there are all sorts of test kits available for checking ammonia,
nitrite, nitrate, etc levels in the tank.  They are also quite pricey.
Does anyone know the actually chemicals required for the various tests - For
example to do a titration / calculation or simply a colour check ...

I have a mixed fish and reef tank of 125 gallons and have recently
seen an explosion of tunicates. I know angel and butterfly fish eat
these, but they also eat corals which I dont want.

Yesterday evening I have made some commotion in my tank
because I was testing/replacing one actinic bulb in my 2-bulbs

I bought 2 wild caught percales for $4.00 less than tank raised and now I
think I wasted my money because these little guys are dying. My tank is in
perfect health, water quality is perfect and my other fish are doing great.
Is this a common occurrence with wild caught percales?

Can someone explain why my Yellow Tank changes from a nice Yellow to a very
dark grey ro almost black ?, when it's dark in colour it seems to like to
hide behind a filter on one of the power heads, I was thinking it's either
scared or tired.
