If I compare salt mixes made by different manufacturers
and I take one pound of each to the equal amount of water,
would I get the same brine density?

Almost 3 months ago I inherited several pieces of live rock that was from a
dead system, but still running. The details was ammonia, nitrite, nitrate
was off the charts, SG was way low as to be non-existant. Lights were not
run on the system, even though they had them. Water levels ...

I have an outbreak of red hair algae. I just did a 15% water change with RO
water. Could this be why? Or is it because I only have:
2 turbo snails
1 sandsifter

has anyone experience with cowfish (Lactoria cornuta) in reef tank? Pages
I've read say that they feed on worms, shrimps, little crabs and algae. I
couldun't find info that they eat corals or anemones.
Is it then safe for reef aquarim, meaning safe for corals?

I finally got mine today and I am a little confused.  I got the Mag Drive
upgrade (Mag 3) and the water is literally SHOOTING out the side of this
thing.  (the skimmer, not the pump)

Sorry guys, problems with the ISP...
