Hello to all you saltwater experts,
I have a question about cycling live rock.  As usual, all the research
I have done is a little different so I am just looking for a few more
opinions.  I am setting up a 10 gal tank.  I am going to use about 12
canister filter- Protien Skimmer -Live Rock ? or all20 Jan 2004 04:39 GMT1
Whats the best mix and why?  I'm confused
Using a 55 galtank with a undergravel filter should I use
1.2 canister filters with out bio-balls and also using live rock with
a protein Skimmer

Looking for a reef tank/or FO salt water tank and am willing to trade or buy
one.  Not overly picky will sett for tank only or FW setup but if I have to
invest a bundle in lighting and filtration, then I might get a bit picky.

Hi. Some weeks ago I stopped at a pet store where they had a pair of
beautiful eels. Their colours were similar to the Chain Eel (Echidna
catenata) and the Honeycomb Moray (Gymnothorax favagineus). They were around
1.5 m, so I doubt it was the first specie. But judging from the pics ...

Last month I purchased a good chunk of some beautiful blastomussa and after
the first two weeks it was loosing its color so I moved it to an area with
lower lighting.  The color to the blastomussa is now back to a deep red.

my turbo snails are just not surviving in my tank. the moment i put them
into my tank, they will not move an inch. and the next day i check on them
they are dead. i presume they are dead cos when i turned them over, they
have no movement at all.
