| Attaching soft coral to live rock? | 18 Jan 2004 18:57 GMT | 4 |
I got some frags of mushrooms and some were loose flosting in the bag, what is the best way to attach these to live rock with minial stress to them, for the ones that were not attached to the rock I can't seem to find a crevice or anything to wedge them in? Here are the frags I got.

| canister filters | 18 Jan 2004 16:55 GMT | 1 |
I know, I've asked this before, but I've forgotten, and my archive search didn't turn up what I needed. Why should one not use a canister filter (for ex. an Eheim 2320) on a marine/reef tank?

| New Tank | 18 Jan 2004 10:20 GMT | 1 |
Allo, I've had my salt water setup (±280 ltr incl. sump) running almost 2 weeks now and have just added some live rock from the LFS. I'd like to rather get my own sand stone and live rock from local beaches

| DIY Overlow Flushes | 18 Jan 2004 06:30 GMT | 7 |
I built my first overflow. (Marc's design) It has a 1" Tube for the line to the sump and a 525 GPM pump for the return. The overflow line is very noisy and sometimes the will flush like a toilet and that is really loud. The pipe from the overflow is submersed in the sump water. I ...

| SPS Bulb, XM or Coralvue | 17 Jan 2004 18:06 GMT | 9 |
Just get some feedback from the group. I'm currently running 250w 10K Ushio (plus actinics) on my SPS tank. And this bulb seems to allow SPS to lose some color. I've read up on the XM 250w 10K bulbs and the CoralVue 250w 10K

| Why Isn't Anyone Talking About The Jewish Factor? ------ UbjajcaHO | 17 Jan 2004 14:42 GMT | 4 |
Governor Howard Dean is married to a Jewish woman and their children are being brought up in the Jewish faith. This has little relevancy for domestic matters, but its impact of foreign relations cannot be ignored, especially in an age where our greatest foreign policy challenge is ...

| Porcelain Crab | 17 Jan 2004 07:24 GMT | 5 |
I got this cute little crab. If you've never seen them before, they are usually white with rust-colored spots on the shell and arms. They hang out near anemones, even getting in the tentacles, and extend fan-like appendages that catch planktonic particles that the crab eats. ...

| new reef set up cycle rock question | 17 Jan 2004 04:22 GMT | 2 |
I have a new 120 g tank that I bought used from a local guy. It was a FO system with minimal light and no chiller and a bunch of dead coral skeleton stuff. My LFS says he'll trade for livestock, coral, lights, etc to upgrade my lighting and help me get a chiller. That's good I'm ...

| Is this too small for the fish I want? | 16 Jan 2004 19:40 GMT | 8 |
I'm looking to start a SW aquarium, and I'm only looking at a single fish, a small living rock and a cleaning crew. I'm wanting to start small and if I can maintain it for some time progress to a larger reef.
