My tank is slowly but surely comming along now, on the weekend I added a Sea Apple, Bubble Tip Anemone, Coral Head and some hard yellow/orange tree looking thing. At this stage everything looks good, but after adding these guys to the tank

A leather coral that's been happy in the tank for some months now has decided not to extend its tentacles for three days. Everything else in the tank seems happy, Pulse Coral (Xenia) is flourishing and the anenome has never looked happier. The rest of the corals appear normal.

Has anyone noticed and significant Increase in their electric bill once they strated using MH lighting. I have 2 175wmh and 2 110 actinics, the last 2 months my electric bill has been about 60 dollars more than usual.

I remeber hearing about this before, and I thought I knew the answer to this question. I thought a strainer on the inlet of the powerhead would stop an anemone from getting sucked in.

I am considering setting up a small aquarium to include living rock a couple of small fish and inverts - shrimps etc. How small can I safely go? Will a 12 gallon tank be adequate with frequent water changes?

I have a quick question about cycling my tank. The tank was setup January 18th and has been cycling since (9 days). The live rock was fully cured and had some nice growth on it. I have actually had no visible die off on the rock. In fact, Anthelia has grown like crazy

Anyone have experience with these? I think I remember Marc said he had one? I've read that they live off of copepods and amphipods (spelling?). Isn't that BAD for a reef? I saw one of these at an LFS and it was love at first sight!

I have quite a large Hepatus Tang. It is pretty happy, looks round and healthy but it is ALWAYS HUNGRY... It seems like his stomach is a well without the bottom. You can throu anything in the tank and it disapear
