| Maroon Clown Behavior | 02 Feb 2004 21:54 GMT | 4 |
I have two GSM clowns, one is almost twice the size as the other. They have been making what I suspect is a nest. The big one has been "fanning" a large hole in the sand. The two of them have been hanging around that hole all day.

| Stange Readings? | 02 Feb 2004 05:11 GMT | 8 |
I've had a generic Ca Test Kit for a while now. It always read about 550ppm but I was never sure because the color change was rather gradual. Well, I finally got a couple of Salifert test kits and I was surprised to see that even THIS test kit says I am over 500ppm.

My 55gal tank has been circulating for ±4 weeks now. After about 2 weeks I added some live rock and ceramic rocks. There is still more for plenty more - Have ±22lbs rock so guess about another 25lbs due to be added. Testing for Ammonia and Nitrites today revealed this is below ...

| French Angelfish problem | 01 Feb 2004 18:32 GMT | 3 |
My angelfish has developed some sort of damage to its skin between his mouth and eye. The best way to describe it is in that area there is no skin and you can see the flesh (meaty part) of the fish. He is alone in a 55 gal tank with salinity s.g. of 1.024. The fish refuses

| Mag v. Rio | 01 Feb 2004 13:47 GMT | 10 |
I have noticed that people seem to dump on RIO pumps a lot. Not just in the newsgroups, but at LFS and such too. I was wondering why this is? I've never had any Mag Drive pumps but I have a couple RIO's that have been nothing but useful. Less than 2 years all be it.

I have a 120 gal. Reef tank in the making. There is plenty of current in the tank with 4 maxijets and a 30" spreader bar in the return line with a 1/4" hole drilled every inch. After feeding, especially when adding Zoecon, millions of tiny bubbles pour from the return and the power ...
