Circulating in LR?01 Feb 2004 08:12 GMT1
Hi;
I'm finally getting my 80g to the starting point and ready to begin
plumbing.  What are the thoughts of taking 1/4 of the output of a Mag 7 and
running it under/into the LR to ensure circulation within?  I was thinking

Sealife Skimmer01 Feb 2004 05:25 GMT5
I have a Sealife motororized PS in my 37G FOWLR that has never really
produced much foam.  My tank has 4 fish, 10 or so red & blue legged hermit
crabs, a couple of sand sifting stars, a couple of Sally Lightfoot crabs,
about 75lbs of LR and 4" of DSB.

It is a white milky cocoon looking deal with some denseness in the base of
the cocoon attached to the live rock. It is white with ...
Help!  Sick Anemone?01 Feb 2004 04:19 GMT15
I've had a sebae anemone for a couple of months now.  When I first got it,
it hunted around for a suitable spot for a day or two.  Once it wedged
itself between a couple of rocks it stayed there.
Today, when I first turned the lights on, it was all "balled" up.  It
T5 woes - anyone else with bad experiences01 Feb 2004 02:17 GMT3
I've been running four 54W T5 bulbs for a year but the bulbs in
question (Arcardia - particularly the actinics) only seem to last
about 4 months. After that time the phosphors have noticeably degraded
and the tank mates don't look to happy. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've
Base rock to live rock?01 Feb 2004 01:23 GMT3
I have a 180gal FO tank that over the years I have added live rock to
the starting decorative rock / dead coral pieces that came from the prior
owner.  I am adding another 50lbs of live rock to the tank in the next few
days - it is curing.  I am thinking about removing some of ...
