| Am I on track? | 17 Feb 2004 07:47 GMT | 6 |
Okay, my 75 gallon is set up and running. Salinity and PH are good, sump has been running for several days, no leaks, looks good, still have some noisy overflow issues to work on, but oh well. My plan is to aquire some LR and a damsel or 2, perhaps blue damsels.

| What to feed my sea apple ? | 17 Feb 2004 07:31 GMT | 6 |
The book says brine shrimp or plankton, I have tried several times with the brine shrimp packet I got to hatch but it wont do it. and for the plankton, nobody seems to know jack squat around these shops where I live.

Hi, my name is Sanjay, and I'm trying to learn something about reef aquariums so I can get started in this wonderful hobby. Until this point I have had only freshwater experience, and even then it's been limited to African Cichlids and their limited range of tankmates. I've

I have never kept any hard corals before and as such have never felt the need to keep a calcium reactor. I am now considering going this route and was hoping to get some advise. I have seen several different generic recommendations by many of you by searching google but I was

| Nitrate Range | 16 Feb 2004 05:22 GMT | 6 |
What is an acceptable range for nitrate? I am reading between 25 to 50 mg/L (=ppm). I am not sure if I should change more water weekly. I changed about 12gal per week for the past 4 weeks and it has gone down a bit. Thanks for your help.

| skylight tubes | 16 Feb 2004 05:05 GMT | 1 |
I was wondering if anyone else has considered skylight tubes as an alternative in reef lighting (or supplemental lighting) applications. These are highly reflective ducting tubes normally used to "pipe" in natural sunlight from your roof top into your house.

| Cleaning the Aqua-C EV Series Skimmers... | 15 Feb 2004 22:21 GMT | 7 |
Just a quick question on cleaning procedures for my EV-120. It is easy enough to clean the collection cup every few days but the manual also says to clean the Foam Tower. What exactly is the foam tower? Is it the "Neck" part that comes up to the collection cup? Is wiping it ...
