I just stuck a LR into my tank and the Ammonia levels have shot up and I
imagine Nitrite will shoot up soon too for the curing process...Other than
watching the salinity, what do I have to check to make sure the live rock
doesn't die?

I finally got around to using my Salifert test kit and was shocked to learn
my Phosphates are about .5

Has anyone had any problems with the Salifer Ca test kits that hit the
streets about 2 weeks ago?  I purchased 2 of them from Champion and they
both are off the charts.  Both say the I have a Ca of 725...when 2 other
kits yield equal results.

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to putting the sump at the same water
level as the main tank?
