| Sump and Skimmer questions | 04 Mar 2004 04:16 GMT | 3 |
Ok. Please try to bear with me, this is going to be long... I am in the planning stages of a new reef setup and I'm trying to get a handle on some plumbing concerns. Before I ask a potentially dumb question, here is my plan thus far:

| Red algae | 03 Mar 2004 19:34 GMT | 1 |
Is there such a thing as "good" red algae? I have a fair amount of red algae presnet in my 55 gal tank but for the life of me it doesn't really look slimy to me. If anything it looks more like "fluff" wherever it looks to be a little denser than just a "surface coat".

| Best Forums? | 03 Mar 2004 06:01 GMT | 1 |
What are the best reef aquaria forums? This group seems pretty active, and I prefer to use Usenet. However, Reefland.com is also very active. I do not like to use private forum sites because it seems likely that they are not archived the way usenet groups are archived. What do

| Tuning a Nautilus TE | 03 Mar 2004 05:06 GMT | 7 |
Just got a Nautilus TE recently and there is very little info about getting it tuned. With my Prizm it told you to adjust so the lower level of bubbles came up to the o-ring around the chamber. Nothing like that with my Nautilus.

| My new tank! | 03 Mar 2004 00:33 GMT | 27 |
So I got my replacement tank and its a 46 gallon. Much better than my old leaky 29. Since I am breaking down another tank at the same time I am wondering if I should use some of the other tanks equipment. Mainly the carbon filter.

| Needle wheels for Turboflotor 1000 | 02 Mar 2004 20:45 GMT | 1 |
Hello...about 2 years ago I purchased a Turboflotor skimmer. It has worked fine but lately it is not producing enough bubbles. I ordered a new RIO 2100 pump from Champion and I installed it today. It really hasn't made a difference. Is there a chance I need a new needle
