Berlin Hang On (POS!)
Also looking at the EV180.  Does anyone use this?  How do you hook up the
pump to it.  Can I just use a flexible house and drop a submersible pump in

Just courious as to what everyone prefers?

Just thoughts not a flame war.
Sump and Skimmer questions04 Mar 2004 04:16 GMT3
Ok. Please try to bear with me, this is going to be long...
I am in the planning stages of a new reef setup and I'm trying to get
a handle on some plumbing concerns. Before I ask a potentially dumb
question, here is my plan thus far:
Regal Tangs Feeding 03 Mar 2004 21:04 GMT2
What is your favorite food to feed the Regal Blue Tang. I have mine for
about a week and have been feeding it:
1. Seaweed Select
2. Formula Two
Red algae03 Mar 2004 19:34 GMT1
Is there such a thing as "good" red algae?
I have a fair amount of red algae presnet in my 55 gal tank but for the life
of me it doesn't really look slimy to me.  If anything it looks more like
"fluff" wherever it looks to be a little denser than just a "surface coat".
Conecting Kalciumreactor to skimmer03 Mar 2004 18:56 GMT2
Do you connect kalkreactor output with skimmer input, to outgassthe excess
CO2 before it can get to your tank ??
Is good idea ? Does it work ?

Best Forums?03 Mar 2004 06:01 GMT1
What are the best reef aquaria forums? This group seems pretty active,
and I prefer to use Usenet. However, Reefland.com is also very active.
I do not like to use private forum sites because it seems likely that
they are not archived the way usenet groups are archived. What do
Tuning a Nautilus TE03 Mar 2004 05:06 GMT7
Just got a Nautilus TE recently and there is very little info about getting
it tuned.
With my Prizm it told you to adjust so the lower level of bubbles came up to
the o-ring around the chamber. Nothing like that with my Nautilus.
Little Giant 3MDQX-SC ?03 Mar 2004 03:17 GMT8
My 3MD is running quite loud. The motor is very noticeable and the pump is
making a grumble noise. Can this pump be rebuilt economically? Where could I
get new bearings and impeller parts?
What type of pump do you use as a sump return? I am currently splitting the
My new tank!03 Mar 2004 00:33 GMT27
So I got my replacement tank and its a 46 gallon. Much better than my old
leaky 29.
Since I am breaking down another tank at the same time I am wondering if I
should use some of the other tanks equipment. Mainly the carbon filter.
Needle wheels for Turboflotor 100002 Mar 2004 20:45 GMT1
Hello...about 2 years ago I purchased a Turboflotor skimmer.  It has
worked fine but lately it is not producing enough bubbles.   I ordered
a new RIO 2100 pump from Champion and I installed it today.  It really
hasn't made a difference.  Is there a chance I need a new needle
How do I kill off angle hair02 Mar 2004 18:25 GMT15
What methods work?
I had an overfeeding problem that I believe is in check.
Water temps might be contributing 79F I trying to get down, pumps and
lighting are doing the heating from what I can tell.
