hey all:  i have a toadstool leather that just started floppin over
about 2 days ago. it is about 7 in. high or so and about 8 in.
diameter.all other corals are fine [hard/soft], the leather still xpands
it's polyps and other than slumpin it looks good. water parameters are

Has anyone had problems with white spot on their fish. Would like to know
how to treat this as I also have corals and a clam alive in the tank and
don't have a quarantine tank to separate them. Any help very much

I know a sump is just an extra tank in the cabinet, but what the heck is
a "refugium". I'm not new, but do explain in simple language?

I've read that setting up a quarantine tank it is a good idea to take the
water from the display setup to the quarantine tank when doing a water
change.  As far as I'm aware as well a water change is also only required
when the nitrates start climbing.  Mine don't register a reading ...

Anyone out there use the moonlights? Sounds like a neet concept, but reality
is that there isn't a full moon everynight... Just wondering if anyone uses

Hi everyone,  Just curious if anyone has used a Milwaukerr Refractometer Model
# MR100ATC. I have an opportunity to get one from a friend at my LFS for next
to nothing. It looks like a nice unit and does allow for manual calibration.

I have purchased my first sw aquarium. My set up is as follows. 75
Gallon All Glass Aquarium/ stand, drilled with overflow box. wet/dry
filter with in-sump EuroReef Es5-2 Protein Skimmer. Rio600 for pumping
water from sump back to the tank. 1 max -jet 600 powerhead (160 gph)

I'm just curious if anyone has successfully run a reef with a cannister
filter (Fluval) and undergravel?
I ran a great fish only setup this way and have attempted a reef with the
ecosystem.  The ecosystem stabilized for about 6 months then it just went
