| cleaner shrimp dead :( | 10 Apr 2004 02:51 GMT | 7 |
Just an update to a post made a few weeks ago... I had posted about my cleaner shrimp doing badly. Just sitting in one spot, looking off color (at the time he/she looked like it had eggs - that apparently was not related). I removed him from the tank and put him in a

| How much is too much? | 08 Apr 2004 20:22 GMT | 4 |
I was curious to know if anyone else out there periodically discovers water under their sump? Not a lot of water, just enough to fit between the cabinet floor and the sump. I seem to have a very small leak and can't find any evidence. The only way I know I have water under the ...

I need to trim up my ever expanding Xenia. https://home.comcast.net/~kensn/images/xenia2.jpg Has anyone here done this? What was your method? Were you successful? I have read of securing the Xenia to a rock with a rubberband and a toothpick, and glueing base to a rock. Was

| Tank cover | 08 Apr 2004 05:42 GMT | 6 |
This may be a dumb question. Are there any problems with using acrylic as a tank cover with the light hood above it? In other words, will the acryllic filter out any important light wavelengths? Is glass better or worse for this purpose and why?

| Now many hours per week? | 07 Apr 2004 05:28 GMT | 6 |
How many hours per week do you spend maintaining your acquarium? I'm very interesting in starting this hobby but would like to get a realistic idea of how much time it takes to maintain, say, a 75 gal system.

| Ammonia off the chart! | 07 Apr 2004 05:12 GMT | 3 |
I'm in the process of curing LR for my FOWLR and recently performed an ammonia test. The test (new) only goes to 8 ppm and in less than 3 minutes, the test sample showed at least 8 ppm. Due to the size of the tank and the rate of my RO, a quick 50% water change is somewhere along ...
