having read so much good info on the BLV 10000K bulb I modded my MH to accept a double ended bulb but when lit it's like a different spectrum. the old bulb gave off a really bluish light but it definitely had 10000K written all over it. the new bulb I one that has excellent reviews ...

If using tap water for a reef is a sin because it might contain silicates, why is it ok to use silica based sand? Or I am I compaing apples to oranges here. GB
