I am also up for your suggestions for lighting.
I currently have 1 white / 1 blue 46"  ???? bulbs that are about 8+
yrs old!
Need replacing obviously.

What is the best HOB overflow?  I have a CPR overflow now that has to have a
pump to keep it primed.  It has gotten clogged and made a mess in the past.
My tank isn't predrilled, so I need a better alternative.

I live in Ottawa Canada, and when I read that an American thinks stuff is
expensive, I must laugh. You guys don't know the meaning of the word.
When a hermit crab that is smaller than my finger nail cost $4.00, and I
need 150 of them you are talking  $600 just for little tiny little ...

It looks like in a few months I maybe moving and have some questions to
ask about moving a tank.
First off, the tank is a 45 gallon reef tank with various zoolanthus
polyps, green star polyps, and a few pieces of cabbage leather coral.

Can someone help me ID this guy?  These pics are all a little blury, but I
think show enough detail.  It looks exactly like an emerald, but red (are
there red emeralds?).  Also, should I be trying to remove him?  As far as I
can tell, he hasn't done any damage but he's getting HUGE. ...

I have a banded coral that somehow lost a leg in the shipping bag.  I was
just wondering if shrimp have the ability to regenerate lost appendages.

Has anyone tried to transport live corals or fish in their carry on luggage?
I have searched the carry on rules and don't see saltwater prohibited, but
the screener is given total freedom to prohibit items not listed.
