I know the answer depends on the grade of rock, as Fiji tends to be
less dense, etc.  But I'd like to get a ballpark estimate of what you
think would be suitable.
Also, I'd be curios to know what your recommendations are for the best

   I got home last night to find all my pumps/lights off. It looked like

I have a 55 gallon reef tank. After coming home and turning on the lamp the other night, I noticed I had some sort of crab in my tank. As I approached the tank, he scooted along the live sand and up into the live rock. I've seen him only once (then) and never during daylight.

I was starring into the tank again and during feeding I was watching the
small critters like tubes, fans, filters, small crabs and the like, to see
what they do to catch the food. One stood out and I never noticed it before.

Being a newbee, I've been lurking in here and absorbing as much
knowldge as possible so for.
I was wondering, in my battle to rid my tank of the current 10ppm

Does anyone have experience with this product?
I used it today, It looks and acts like Kalkwasser and water? any help will

What lights should I get for a 75G(48*20*18)?
3 or 4 URI VHO 48" (what colors)?
3 or 4 T5 HO 48" ?
Also which one runs cooler URI VHO or T5 HO?

I picked up a new 14k 150 watt metal halide today and plugged it in and
turned it on. The brightness doesn't seem as much as my 10k bulb and it
looks much blue'er then I thought it would be. I heard about burn-in times
for MH Bulbs, so has anyone got some idea how long I should wait ...

I've decided to sell my tank but I don't know how much the stuff is
worth.  Can anyone give me a clue?  I know how much I paid for it, but
it's not nearly worth that . . . I'm planning on getting a few smaller
tanks in exchange for the big one.

Series Super Flow Pump ? I'm looking for something to use with my 100
GPD RO/DI unit (from Marc). I'm currently getting only about 18

Anyone using the Arcadia overtank Luminaire?  I'm wondering if the 4
T5 bulbs might be enough for a soft coral reef.  Also, I see the
Arcadia does NOT have built in timers.  Is there an mod that will
provide this function?

especially the sump designs.  I was reading about your 55g and noticed that you
got a reading of 600ppm for calcium early on.  I had always thought that
calcium started precipitating out of solution before it ...

Turned on the ro/di water to fill a top off bucket last night. fell asleep.
woke in the morning with about 40 gallons of water all over the floor. Dog
was barking thru the night, I just told him to shut up. What a huge mess.
