about 26ins deep under a 400W 14K MH light, is this enough light at this
depth, or should I raise the clam.

Are Prism skimmers state of the art?11 Sep 2004 20:19 GMT3
I have been experiementing with a Prism protein skimmer. Getting and
keeping the flow rate / foam level right seems to be a bit of a black
magic art (which I am getting the hang of), but I am also finding it
quite noisy as the tank is in the main living area of the house.

I've been checking the reef since my last posting and finally narrowed the

small pair of beady antennae staring at me out of a hole in the rock.  I
took it out and have the rock in a plastic container but ...

Your thoughts on Aqua C Urchin Skimmers?09 Sep 2004 22:47 GMT6
I have a 30-gallon reef tank and I've done a little research on which would
be the best protein skimmers.  Would you all recommend the Aqua C Urchin?
It seems to be a pretty good skimmer for the money and it seems very easy to
install.  Do you guys know of any drawbacks to this ...
