All my preperations for one of our biggest fears....the power outage...were put to the test today. The power was out for nearly an hour, and everything fired right back up the way it should. Sorry, just had to share:)

anyone have a golden pygmy angel or known about this one. found a store that had one in its reef tank---not 4 sale. didnt bother any corals, what a pretty fish. i think official name is centropyge aurantis, could be wrong.

Hi. I have a tetra that looks like it has dropsy and it is not improving. I've tried antibiotic on it but may have been too late. Is this contagious to the other fish? Is this fish suffering? Should I put it out of its misery? How?

I came home tonight to find my coral beauty, partially engulfed by my crocea clam. I have never heard of crocea clams preying on fish, but I find it hard to believe that the fish died, and then just happened to fall in the right position to be engulfed by the clam. Also,
