I added a royal gramma to my 30-gallon tank one week ago.  A few days ago, I
noticed some little white bubble-like spots on him and today there are a lot
more.  Is this ich?  What should I do?

I've set up my 29G tank for two month. 3 weeks ago, there happened green
algae and nowadays, purple algae appeared on LR. Is this purple algae
harmful? Also, Should I remove it or it's normal phenomena in a new tank?

I have reciently noticed some typea of water bugs in my tank.
1st one, I can only see it at night with a flashlight.  It moves back
into the live rock as soon as the light hits it and I have not yet
been able to identify it.  It looks simular to an earwig by size and

How do you control these things ? I am slowly moving over to an SPS tank and
these things grow like wildfire. I've traded, fraged them but need to
control some of it. Can you inject the mat with some fresh water or vinegar?
Scrap it off the rocks ? Cover it up with another rock ? ...

I'm new to keeping invertebrates, with the exception of some mushrooms.  On
the advice of my LFS, it was recommended that I try a small leather coral.
Anything in particular I should know about what to feed it etc.?

 i have a toadstool leather that is getting way to big, its  not
spliting into two pieces or developing daughter pcs. it is one piece
that is very wide. would i do any damage if i cut it since it is one
piece, also any preferred method of cutting

I found a used aquarium ad in the paper for a sw 55 gal tank, with all
equipment, LR, 3" DSB, fish, and misc for $100 dollars!  Too good to be
true? I hope not!  I go to pick it up tomorrow morning. If everything turns

Two days ago I was moving rock around in my 11 gallon reef tank and my
bubble tip brittle starfish got a leg caught and it came off.  There
