I am looking for some black stick on background to the back of my
tank. I used it a few years ago but cant find it. I am in So Cal. It
had a peel away paper type backing and then you would lay it on the
outside back of the tank. it was not the kind that you wet the back

1.) What does "swcd" stand for?
2.)  Can a sump be placed inside a stand where there is complete darkness
all the time?

on tues. i ordered a golden pygmy angel from pet solutions to be
delivered today  {wed } the box got lost and now delivery is thurs. do u
think this fish will be alive  on thurs. when delivered, i don't ,

what can I look for in the UK and in which test should I check often.
Ph never really varied and ammonia was always present but in very low level.
nitrites were always zero and the nitrates were a problem for a while but I
do seem to have them under control but what about Kh ...

I'm relatively new to salt tanks, today I was at the local Store and saw a
guy buying Micro algae. to me it looked like a broccoli stalk. When I asked
him what was he explained that it helps control algae, that they fight for
nutrients, thus kills off the algae.

I'm in the process of putting my tank in the wall ala Marc and I now have
room to go with any kind of lighting without my wife mumbling something
about the tank appendages being ugly.  Which is more efficient to operate,
PC or MH?  It would seem the PC is less $$per watt to

What if I collect sand carmel beach in Montrery, CA ( about 2 hours drive in
south from San Francisco)? It's very fine grain and white sand even tough I
don't know what it was made from.
