I saw something on Ebay about 2 months ago that was kit to turn a 10 gal
tank into a sump for life rock and algae. Does anyone know you sells
something like that. I am about to setup a 75 gal tank and want to use
75 lbs of rock in the tank and another 10 pounds in a lighted sump.

even sure if there is anything that can be done about it.
SW/Damsel questions12 Dec 2004 23:46 GMT15
I recently set up a salt water fish tank. I seeded the tank
with bacteria from another tank, added Stress Coat and
Stress Zyme, waited 24 hours, then on Wednesday I put in 5
small (1.25-1.5 inch) damsels  (3 yellow tails and 2 black

Friend or enemy?11 Dec 2004 17:56 GMT2
I have something quite pretty growing in my 29 gallon tank which I
definitely did not put there.  Maybe I should be alarmed at an evil
invader, but I have been welcoming its growth.  I'll describe it/them.
It begins as a single deep red upright finger and then splits into two,
Hi guys!11 Dec 2004 02:51 GMT15
I know it's been a while since I posted on r.a.m.r, but I
had a bunch of images I thought you'd enjoy.
First, 11 shots of a hitchhiker crab that is kept in the
refugium, just in case. :)
Phosban reactor09 Dec 2004 20:09 GMT5
I've had my Phosban reactor running for about 2 weeks now & it has
killed about 40% of my bryopsis.
There's no question here, I'm just super happy that the thing is really
working. Unlike other stuff that claims to work but never really does. Also

Getting rid of grassy stuff???09 Dec 2004 13:26 GMT4
I have recently come across a grassy weed-like thing growing into my star
polyps.  It may have come from a piece of mushroom rock I recently added.
It has managed to attach itself to the polyp rock and is now spreading into
the polyps, smothering them.  It appears to grow in patches ...
Devils Hand losing fingers09 Dec 2004 07:44 GMT5
I have a devils Hand coral which is losing fingers. They seem to be tearing
away. Several have fallen to the floor of the tank. I have not removed them
because they are still living. Is this normal? could my fish be nipping away
at it? I haven't caught anyone nipping at it. This ...
Hey, Marc!09 Dec 2004 07:37 GMT2
Well, I followed Marc's lead and put my tank in the wall.  Why didn't I do
it sooner??  It's neater, cleaner, much easier to work on...and I swear the
fish are more active.  Thanks for the inspiration, Marc

New Saltwater09 Dec 2004 04:24 GMT1
I'm thinking about converting a 55 that is currently frershwater into a
saltwater tank. No plans yet, it's just something in the back of my mind
-- is the process and cost prohibitive? Someone describe the process --
or is Junior's sig about having more money than brains right on? ...
berghia nudibranchs for aptaisia's?08 Dec 2004 22:38 GMT3
I have been reading about these aptaisia eating little devils for a
little while here, and have come to the conclusion that they eat
strictly aptaisia's (which I have tons of) and that they can't be kept
in your reef tank.  Well, I have 2 tanks, a 50gal which has pretty
