I'm thinking of buying a couple of damsels. I remember watching a TV program which showed black damsels which were cultivating a patch of reef and helping it recover from a serious loss. could these help my maintenance of the reef.

New to forum. I've got a big problem with red slime algae outbreak in my 45 gal. fish, invert., live rock tank. Water quality is ok. Lighting is MH. Filter is pleum? with power heads for circulation. Any suggestions greatly apprecieated. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking of adding 5 lbs of live rock, some macro algae and a light to my sump. I plan on taking the bios balls out slowly over the next month, does anyone see a issue with this. The persoon at the LFS said I am better off leaving my wet / dry the way it is.

I understand tanks are made out of "Acrylic" but what kind? As I search for "Acrylic" plastic I find "Lexan, Polycarbonate, Polystyrene, PPE, PET, ", and two dozen other names I don't understand. Which one???
