Strange Coral Death?18 Apr 2005 18:24 GMT1
Hi all;
Had two thriving corals (bubble coral and button polyp coral) that were
doing fantastic. I decided to change my 20K Coral Life bulb last month.
The corals were doing fine until about 2 weeks since I changed the bulb.

HELP...  Reef Weirdness18 Apr 2005 02:54 GMT5
I've recently had some weird things happening in my reef tank.  My
bi-color angel--a normal sized dwarf angel--has dissappeared.  I
noticed yesterday that my CB shrimp is missing an arm.  My cleaner
shrimp (3) disappeared some time ago.  And now, my yellow tang has a
Corals or Anemones!17 Apr 2005 19:44 GMT1
Ive been moving from a fish only to a full reef tank. Alls going well and I
have a few anemones and startfish etc. No corals yet.
Are corals easier to maintain or anemones? Seems every reef tank photo I see
is full of corals and they are damn expensive specially the big ones! If
Blood red fire shrimp question17 Apr 2005 00:24 GMT4
I am still thoroughly enjoying my shrimp.  I did get a panic feeling in my
stomach yesterday when I went to the tank and I thought something ate him.
I found his skin and his feeler thingies on top of a rock, but then I saw

Heater recommendation16 Apr 2005 02:18 GMT5
I've had it it with unreliable heaters. In your collective opinion,
what is the BEST heater, in terms of accuracy and reliability,
regardless of price? I have a 75 reef with 20 gallon sump. Euroreef
skimmer, mag9 return.
Feather Duster Issue?15 Apr 2005 21:30 GMT2
Got a few Feather Dusters over the last couple of months. Recently two of
them seem to be shrinking and don't look as wide open and brilliant as they
did.
I was feeding them frozen brine from a syringe. I just started using Kent
Live rock more livelier.15 Apr 2005 02:52 GMT4
My 55 gallon FOWLR is now 3 months old.
More and more stuff is appearing on, in and around the LR and LS.
Some type of tube sponge has appeared in one cranny. There are small tube
worms all over the place.
RO/DI wtaer question15 Apr 2005 02:43 GMT4
I notice that the RO/DI water I make feels a little slimey to the touch. I
can see the slime also when I eyedropper feed the tank. Also seems like
little floating slime at the tank surface? Is this normal?
overflow box question in flexi-glass tank14 Apr 2005 18:24 GMT1
Hi, guys
I'm wondering how to install an overflow box in flexi glass tank.
Usually, there is no space for overflow box because its top corner is
closed.
Featherdusters stuck together14 Apr 2005 02:39 GMT2
I have two hawaiian feather dusters, and one has anchored his tube on the
other. I've been afraid to force them apart for fear of hurting them.
Should I try to seperate them, or will they disengage from each other if it
bothers them?
