How big do individual polyps get on green button polyps (zoanthus
polchellus)?  I got it 2 weeks ago and the largest polyp was about 1/4 inch
across.  Most are now about 1/2 inch across.  At this pace they will grow
out of my tank and take over my living room before too long ; ). ...

I have a 5 year old reef tank and have had success with a wide variety
of hard and soft corals.  I have had problems with Ricordia however.
On several occasions I have purchased some very expensive and beautiful
blue ricordia.  I have tried placing them in a variety of locations in

Can anyone suggest the best way and ratio to bring the ph back up in my RO
water for water changes and top-offs?   I've heard baking soda was good, but
am having trouble finding a soda to gallon ratio that works.

I waited for so long until I got a tank and sump but I'm still having
problems with nitrates.  one or two people have suggested that with the
amount of LR in my tank that that's all I should use and dump the sump.
would this be a good idea.
