I just recently added several stalks of xenia to my 150 gallon reef tank. In just a week I noticed that it has already grown quite a bit, and spread to an adjacent rock at the bottom of the tank. I have read that it can grow to nuisance proportions.

The local fish store....which I will most certainly have to "bust out" is selling.......<breathe>....uh...curly cue anemones!!!!!!!!!!! Why???? That's the moral equivalent of selling stale bread with yeasty fungus at a convenience store....

I have a 65 gallon reef setup that I have had for years. I am thinking of changing the lighting on it and would like some input. I have been using Metal halide with 2 actinic. The corals are doing well, soft and stoney corals. The problem is the heat that is generated by the MH. ...

Haven't even gotten a new home build or purchased from Ivan yet.... arrgh :-) At least I can't lose my SPS tank all over again, the rock is still in a trash can with wet rags. I was waiting to get a new home
