We have a green bubble anemone that has been thriving for about 9 months. Unfortunately, it somehow got a big part of itself sucked through the grill protecting one of the powerhead intakes used for circulation. All of the tentacles down one side were ripped away.

Currently i have a 33 Gal tanks. My question is : i have 2 aurora 50/50 (20w ea) & 2 coral sun actinic 420 610 mm - stats from the package I took the advice of LFS on the lighting, My goal is a reef tank.

It happened last night.. my hitchhiker " stomatella " climbed to the highest point of my tank. It was excreting something out of its "side antenna". It went on for a bit, and climbed down.

I have a simple question. I just got RO/DI 125GPD unit, assembled it. Do I just connect somewhow 1/4" input tube to the facet and let the water going, or I need a special pump? What is the proper procedure to make water?

I am looking for my pending reef apx. 75 lbs of "dead" sand, aragonite preferred. I tried to find Southdown in my local Home Depot (Minneapolis), but they don't have it. Do you guys know where can I buy quality sand somewhat cheap?

I have managed to scratch the inside of my tanks glass, by using some magnetic glass cleaners. It seems that there was a piece of the substrate on the magnet inside the tank, which has scratched the tank....
