I'm into my second year with my reef tank.  I took thing slow at first
with just learning about the basics with first starting out with live
rock and just a few fish.  When I purchased the fish in the tank I made

Years ago (all most 40) I had a saltwater tank with reef and all.  I
remember what a bear it was 'cause all most no one kept coral but I did
it for about five years then had to move on to other things.

My wife's tank has been suffering from cloudy water and I have read that a
Marineland Magnum 350 Canister Filter would be a solution.
I can't find any UK suppliers.. any idea where the best place to get one
from would be?

My wife and I are new to this hobby (inherited reef tank from daughter & son-in-law). Have read, read and read and am convinced on the need for quarantine tank for new fish.
Question: Would you quarantine hermit crabs, cleaner shrimp, snails etc that are going in this same reef ...

I did a water test as I do just befor each water chage and noticed the
ammonia had a spike(0.2-0.4).
The next day (yesterday) I did a 30 gal water change in my 120 gal
tank.

I was reading this group last evening just to see what there was to
see.  My wife and I owned a pet store for 10 years from 1976 to 1987
and prided ourselves on our fresh and salt warter selection and
quality.
