Hello group! Is it Ok to take the salt that forms on the glass at the top of the tank and drop it back into the tank??? I would think that this occurs naturally ! Is the evaporated salt different than the mix??? I think it might be.

So I just bought a nice set of Power Compact 15k blue, 15k white lights, with built in moonlights (also have a few moonlights I already had to manually position them better)... and I've seen other posts where people phase in lighting one by one however my new light does not ...

I did a web search for Confusa, but could find precious little information. Can anyone tell me or direct me to good information. ie care, etc. I know being Montipora it will be high light, and water flow, but I am looking for more details...

I am about to add cleaner shrimp to my new aquarium and am looking for advice. I do a lot of reading about fish species and really can't find a lot of fish that are shrimp-friendly. Maybe some of the sites I'm reading I'm taking too seriously but they are all I have.

sorry - new to this ( 1 month) Up to now its looked healthy and been growing ( looks like its dividing at the base ) over the last 24 hours its developed a blue tinge to its 'skin'

I'm continuing to let my tank cycle, but I'm not sure if anything is happening with the ammonia levels. It's been 3 weeks now. I have lots of live rock, so maybe it was ready to go from the start. There's also 3 chormis fish in the tank.
