| T5 lighting question | 21 Jul 2006 12:27 GMT | 1 |
I am thinking of replacing my old PC fixture with a T5 fixture. I have a 29 gallon which I am planning to have as a soft coral/mushroom/zoanthid type tank. Currently I have 110W of PC and am looking at a 96W T5 fixture. Would this be a good fit?

| Tank leaks! | 21 Jul 2006 01:31 GMT | 7 |
My 75gal tank is accumulating salts on its edge. It has to be a leak but I was wondering if it is normal or should I just transfer everything to a new tank? Is not a big deal but worries me.

| How Often should you.. | 17 Jul 2006 16:10 GMT | 2 |
I have a canister filter system with bio media as well as carbon media for my 75 gal (75 lbs LR) FOWLR. I use to change the carbon every time I do a partial water change. I read somewhere that I'm getting rid of too much bacteria at one time. If this is true, how often should I ...

Does anyone else have problems making R/O water from a well? I just replaced both filters & new membrane and it's barely making water. I use a water softner so I don't get it. Are some R/O units better than others? Most probably all use the same

| FW to SW transition, equipment suggestions | 11 Jul 2006 15:26 GMT | 3 |
I have had 3 successful freshwater tanks for about 3 years (10G, 29G, and 55G), but I've been seriously considering converting the 55G tank to a reef aquarium. Everything that's in there can be moved to another tank, with the exception of a single pl*co that I can probably give
