I did a partial water change yesterday and the ammonia is still at .25.
Should I keep doing water changes? (theres only live rock and sand)
or if I just wait it out---will the tank simply go through the cycle and
bring itself to equalibrium?

Simply put ... this live rock looks like it's had it's day, but I can't tell
what to look for because this is the first rock I have ever purchased? ...
Can somebody tell me what to look for or give me an email to send a couple
of high quality pics of my rock to you?

So in my tank I have a foxface and blue tang amongst other things.

probably bad aquarium situation. Even with the Bio-Spira, my ammonia level
spiked up, so I did the ol` water change.

I put my rock in a newly set-up tank about 48 hours ago. I figured what
initially appeared on the rock would continue once I got it submerged, I can
already tell that there has been some die off since putting it in. Some of
the "green" areas have receded. Some of the protrusions ...

So i have my water and my salt.  I start adding but the little needle doesnt
move.  Add some more still nothing.  Whole lot more nada.  Guy at the
Aquarium Center told me he would look at it the meter tomorrow.
Thank goodness there is nothing alive in the tank.  Any other newb ...
