Foxface Diet12 Sep 2006 23:00 GMT3
I just put a foxface in an established 90 gal. reef tank.  He's too shy to
come around at feeding time & seems to be content grazing on bubble algae.
Will he stay healthy enough on just bubble algae?
Livestock by Mail?12 Sep 2006 04:03 GMT2
My first reaction to the thought of mail order fish was an uncomfortable
one. But  Since many LFS sell everything from Hermit Crabs to
Cockerspanials, isnt buying  mail-order Livestock online from Marine
Specialists a source of  much healthier Specimens?  If so, please give links ...

Kalk: Alternatives?09 Sep 2006 19:16 GMT8
The Kalkwasser angle has me a little uptight. It seems theres gonna be
enough to deal with the tank without me having to put on the chemist hat
too. Is there some kind of ready-mixed product  alternative to the Kalk
treatment ? Do LFS sell fresh Kalk? Is Kalk a MUST for a FOWLR ...
Quarantine question08 Sep 2006 18:21 GMT3
How do you guys handle the situation in which you want to buy a fish that
requires special conditions to survive - conditions you have in your main tank.
An example would be a Mandarin, which eats stuff you have wandering around in
your main tank but which doesn't exist in your ...

hermit crab08 Sep 2006 06:11 GMT7
I have a hermit crab (blue leg) that has left his shell and looks like he
has started to molt.
I goggled, but couldn't find the answer to this.  How long will it take for
him to finish molting?
Reef Safe Predator of Flat Worms?07 Sep 2006 22:08 GMT6
I recently have had a outbreak of flatworms in my 90 gallon reef. My LFS was
out of Six Line Wrasse's, which I've read Love to eat these little pests..
So I picked up a Spotted Green Mandarin after reading online that they love
flatworms. The mandarin is doing a alright job I ...
Digi Mate 3in1 Meter Temperature/ Specific Gravity Meter/Salinity Meter07 Sep 2006 18:28 GMT24
I purchased these water meters in bulk with a bunch of friends who also
have salt water tanks. We have a few left over and I thought I am
offering them to diffrent group members at a discounted price. The JBJ
model of this meter sells for $100+. We are looking to sell them for
Clown and anenome relationship07 Sep 2006 17:43 GMT9
Is the clown/anemone relationship a learned one or is it genetic?  In other
words will a clown take to an anemone if he has never seen/witnessed another
clown fish in an anemone?
I am asking because I have a tank raised percula clown who is not taking to

Sarcopython Propagation Help07 Sep 2006 17:33 GMT4
It's time for me to propagate my Sarcopython.  It's huge.
All sites I have visited to propagate say to cut off the cap, cut it into
sections
and glue it to plugs or small pieces of rock.

Sick clown?06 Sep 2006 15:11 GMT9
I came home from work on my lunch break yesterday and thought that I was
missing a clown fish. After putting a bit of dry seaweed in, he came out
from hiding in a far corner under some pieces of live rock. For my
clowns, this is VERY unusual behavior. They usually don't even go ...
