What fixture would you recomend for a 3 foot long tank ? It is 58 gallon oceanic without center frame brace. It is "reef-ready" tank with center back wall overflow. Currently running with home-made 2 x 96W power compacts lamp.

Not that I'm concerned for the health of the Pseudochromis BUT mine looks like it had a run in with a porcupine. It's got small needle like things sticking out of it's face and it's mouth is half open.

| Diagnosing CoralLife Light Fixture | 28 Jan 2007 07:08 GMT | 9 |
I have a coralife MH light that is 2 years old. It seems that one of the power supplies is a little weak although the MH lights are definitely old. Only one of the power supplies can light up each light, and after the light has been lit it won't re-light until it cools off.

| Sebae Annemone | 27 Jan 2007 15:07 GMT | 5 |
Bought it approx 1 year ago. It has turned brown and grown considerably, but has not grown any new tentacles. As a result, it is huge but ony the origanal tentacles. It still eats well and moves around the tank. Could this be related to captivity? Any ideas?

| Calculating final nitrate level after water change | 26 Jan 2007 03:45 GMT | 7 |
I realize this is probably a fairly simple equation, but I'm really struggling with it. I'm trying to create a formula (perhaps to eventually work into a classroom lesson) to predict the nitrate concentration in the aquarium AFTER a partial water change. This is
