"The Jews were very influential in Germany after the First World War.
They were strongly entrenched in the legal profession, in banking, in

Tank Temps24 Jan 2007 05:11 GMT13
I ordered some more slimline fans, but my temp still swings from 77 to
84 in a day.  Is 7 degrees too much?
I was hoping to wait till next month to buy a chiller, but it seems like
I need to do something sooner.
ZooPlankton24 Jan 2007 05:06 GMT20

How many sea urchins can I sustain in my Nano24 Jan 2007 02:24 GMT17
I currently have a Sea Urchin - pinkish sort of thing not sure of the
exact species or name - it was described as a pin cushion urchin....it
trundles around the tank picking up all sorts of rubbish on it's

Noisy, weepy RO23 Jan 2007 07:59 GMT5
My RO unit (RO Ultratec, 3 canisters, 2 membrane cylinders) makes an
intermittent buzzing noise, and also seems to be "weeping" (not enough
to actually drip) from most of the plastic water lines.  I replaced the
filters (not the membranes; system is only 7 months old), but I still
ditritus Buildup22 Jan 2007 02:10 GMT2
I acquired a new tank, but it didn't have a protein skimmr (it did, but
it was never cleaned), so now it has a huge build up of ditritus.  I can
get the skimmer running, and then vacuum out as much ditritus as I can,
but what else?
Don't Feed Trolls...20 Jan 2007 13:39 GMT1
I think we all expected the troll attack.  Just don't pay them any
attention because this is what they feed on.

Noisy MaxiJet 120020 Jan 2007 02:27 GMT15
Question - I have a MaxiJet 1200 Powerhead in my tank to create some
current for my fish. I have it unplugged though because it is rather
noisy - it makes an almost grinding noise; I think its the impeller or
something, and I'm not sure how to fix/clean it? Anyone have any

Diatoms15 Jan 2007 23:35 GMT22
I've developed a nasty case of brownies. I think it's just a
coincidence that I opened a new bag of salt, same company.
No new anything in the tank. I tried an inch of fine sand on
top of the old, but that didn't stop anything. I change 6

Please help me identify this hitchhiker15 Jan 2007 16:28 GMT8
We purchased live rock at a local store and we have a worm like friend that
came with it. I'm hoping someone can help me identify? It looks like a worm
about an inch long and 5-8mm in diameter.
I first noticed the hitch hiker a day after we put the rock into our tank. It
