I have this bright red patch on two of my snails, never been there before, I took pics. I took one of them out of tank for closer inspection and these things are hard as rock, I looked soft and leach like before I touched it, but it would not come off?

Everyone says the reference point to get lights are base on watts/gallon. My question is how tall does the tank has to be in order to use that rule. Does 3 W/G become 6W/G when you place the coral in the middle. For example if you tank is 18" tall and you place the coral at 9" will ...

I want to buy the PM Bullet1 or Aqua C EV 120...........which one is better? My understanding they both work on same idea. Also I never had a skimmer so help me undersatnd the sump, and how does the water get to the skimmer, how does the water get back into my tank?
