Rabbit Fish30 Nov 2007 15:32 GMT12
My rabbit fish is too big for my tank. I'm trying to use a fish trap the LFS
loaned me but no go. He keeps pecking at the food but he won't go inside.
Anyone got any pointers? And the fish is pretty big. Too big for a soda
bottle.

Clowns Spawned30 Nov 2007 02:56 GMT1
Hey, my tomatoe clowns spawned for the first time in my tank.  Wow!
First the anemone splits and now spawn.  I'm so proud!
Water Change Fish Loss?29 Nov 2007 13:43 GMT27
I`m really bummed.
I think I might have unknowingly siphoned a Scooter Blenny out of my tank
during a water change, is this possible?
The other possibility is that I might have disrupted the DSB a bit when
Gate Valve26 Nov 2007 01:20 GMT6
Where can I find a decent gate valve?  (No metal)
I'm looking to upgrade my pump, but I want a way to regulate the flow
into the tank so I don't overflow the tank.

Apistasia Wimp23 Nov 2007 03:56 GMT23
Hey people,
I went out and got the Joes Juice--- But I just cant bring myself to stab
these suckers. I realize we are playing G*D with a host of organisms on a
regular basis----but this is`nt detached like just pouring in some additive.
Blenny is Back!21 Nov 2007 19:47 GMT5
Well,
I`m happy to say that over 54 hours after writing off the sucker, my little
red scooter blenny is back chomping pods off my live rock.
I guess he was pretty scared by that last water change and "laid low" for a
Stoopid Nubeee20 Nov 2007 22:26 GMT27
I fed my fish last night and I turned off the pumps so the skimmer wouldn't
suck up the food. Well...I forgot to turn it back on. This morning my angel
was laying on her side on the bottom breathing. I checked the water and it
was fine but I went ahead and did a change anyway. ...
Mushrooms20 Nov 2007 22:22 GMT14
My luck with corals continues, but here's the question:  How do I take
care of mushrooms?  I had a rock that was full of them, but they seem to
be dwindling steadily over about a 6 month period.  AFAIK, nothing is
bothering them, but they just get smaller until they disappear.

Live rock in sump -yay or nay?17 Nov 2007 23:10 GMT9
Yes I know I can read up on it, and I have, but I want some real life
opinions here.
Brief background, since most of the regular posters seem to be
following my adventures with some regularity:

this bulb very cheap:
Heater Recommendations16 Nov 2007 03:27 GMT8
I think I have one heater that won't heat at all and another that is
stuck on.  Any recommendations on a heater?
I guess it's back to walmart to pick up another cheap-o.

Sea Hare15 Nov 2007 18:39 GMT8
Sorry for posting this message twice.  I accidentally captioned my
last post with a mistake in the subject line and thought it might get
caught in sporge onslaught!
Recently I have been battling a hair algae problem.
