I have always had a problem with my hang overflow unit. The siphon always gets an air bubble in it and eventually gets big enough that the siphon is in danger of breaking and the water level in the tank gets very high.

I finally got around to sifting all the crush coral out of my sand. But, in the midst, I found a hard shell crab, about the size of a silver dollar, white body, and black pincers. I have a pic that I'll get off my camera tomorrow.
