Has anyone ever used this product or know anything about it? It says it
removed Nitrate, Nitrite and Ammonia, but does it really work or is it
just another gimmick?

BAD SELLER ALERT: CORALS PLUS31 Jan 2008 20:49 GMT31
Just wanted to pass along a very, very bad internet company to deal with.
To make a long story shorter I had ordered over $160.00 worth of livestock
and a light from coralsplus.com.  After numerous phone calls to this place
and numerous messages left I finally get an okay that ...
I am a marine collector.28 Jan 2008 19:38 GMT3
Does anyone see a moral issue because I make my living chipping
gorgonians, recordias and snails by the bucketfull from the Keys to
pay my mortgage?

roughly every 25 - 30 days. Today I checked my levels and I'm at 20 ppm.

Need help with hang on overflow26 Jan 2008 14:32 GMT6
I have always had a problem with my hang overflow unit.  The siphon
always gets an air bubble in it and eventually gets big enough that
the siphon is in danger of breaking and the water level in the tank
gets very high.
DSB - when to add detrivores?24 Jan 2008 19:00 GMT4
After setting up a DSB with mature rock and a pre-existing refugium, how
long should i wait to add detrivores?   Just concerned that they don't
starve before they get enough bio-load in the sand.

How to tell if something is dead?16 Jan 2008 16:15 GMT10
Got me a golden headed sleeper goby who I haven't seen for more than a
second or two since adding him (about a week ago).  Would I see a
spike of something if he was laying dead someplace???

floor protection16 Jan 2008 03:02 GMT27
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience in placing "something" under
a tank stand to help protect hard wood floors? I have a 75 gallon with the
standard wood stand with cabinets. I am thinking of putting something, but I
don't know what yet, between the stand and the floor ...
Corals / Anemones/ lighting16 Jan 2008 00:36 GMT22
I have a FOWLR and I'm thinking of adding corals and or anemones. I
don't know anything about either of them so I'm here doing some
research.  I know I don't want to buy any special lighting other then
bulbs so, from Soup to nuts, what will I need to do?
Sharks14 Jan 2008 18:42 GMT5
Does anyone know of a wholesaler or store where I might find a nice
selection of sharks for purchase in good health and still smaller in
size? I'm in the process of buying a house with a large detached
garage and was seriously thinking about building a several thousand
Snail killing hermits14 Jan 2008 18:41 GMT11
Is there a responsible way to dispose of these guys?  I'm ready to pick
them out and fling them in the back yard.

Crab ID14 Jan 2008 13:48 GMT3
I finally got around to sifting all the crush coral out of my sand.
But, in the midst, I found a hard shell crab, about the size of a silver
dollar, white body, and black pincers.  I have a pic that I'll get off
my camera tomorrow.
