Has anyone ever used this product or know anything about it? It says it
removed Nitrate, Nitrite and Ammonia, but does it really work or is it
just another gimmick?

My nitrates run normally 10 - 15 ppm. I do 1/3 partial water changes
roughly every 25 - 30 days. Today I checked my levels and I'm at 20 ppm.
 This is just after i did my Partial WC
Other then  water changes how can I reduce my nitrates. I've tried in

I have always had a problem with my hang overflow unit.  The siphon
always gets an air bubble in it and eventually gets big enough that
the siphon is in danger of breaking and the water level in the tank
gets very high.

After setting up a DSB with mature rock and a pre-existing refugium, how
long should i wait to add detrivores?   Just concerned that they don't
starve before they get enough bio-load in the sand.

Got me a golden headed sleeper goby who I haven't seen for more than a
second or two since adding him (about a week ago).  Would I see a
spike of something if he was laying dead someplace???

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience in placing "something" under
a tank stand to help protect hard wood floors? I have a 75 gallon with the
standard wood stand with cabinets. I am thinking of putting something, but I
don't know what yet, between the stand and the floor ...

I have a FOWLR and I'm thinking of adding corals and or anemones. I
don't know anything about either of them so I'm here doing some
research.  I know I don't want to buy any special lighting other then
bulbs so, from Soup to nuts, what will I need to do?

Does anyone know of a wholesaler or store where I might find a nice
selection of sharks for purchase in good health and still smaller in
size? I'm in the process of buying a house with a large detached
garage and was seriously thinking about building a several thousand

Is there a responsible way to dispose of these guys?  I'm ready to pick
them out and fling them in the back yard.

I finally got around to sifting all the crush coral out of my sand.
But, in the midst, I found a hard shell crab, about the size of a silver
dollar, white body, and black pincers.  I have a pic that I'll get off
my camera tomorrow.
