Any grey breeders  in Dallas Tx Area17 Sep 2003 17:53 GMT1
Just found this group, so please excuse if we are off topic. We are
currently interested in getting an African grey (congo)  and were
wondereingif there are any breeders or persons who are selling in the
Dallas Tx Area. Ay help or advise is appreciated.

Just in the last few days I've noticed some type of Parrot hanging out
in my backyard.  Obvously it has escaped from it's owner since we don't
have many green and red birds here in Kansas.

I have a 2 yr. old Senegal and was wondering if it's dangerous to have a
gas stove with a parrot.  I know they are susceptible to respiratory
problems and even death from most toxic fumes.  Does anyone know if the
pilot from a gas stove emits enough fumes to be hazardous for a ...

Who feels like oldmolly is here to help any one?  All I have seen her do is
talk down to people.   I thought that this was to help and learn from one
another.  I will not put up with a know it all.  Trying to shove what they

Coming out of lurker mode to announce the arrival of our new CAG, "Gibson"!
He is our first Grey and what a fine specimen "he" is.
Anyway, I am a newbie parrot owner. I've had small birds before but nothing

hiya.
i noticed yesterday on the play perch that there was about 4 or 5 grey
feathers and about 10 white downy feathers on the bottom. and also this
morning in his cage, there was 3 large feathers (not flight) and a few of

I'm going to pick up my bird today. Called the person Im buying from and she
said he had messed his tail feathers up by climbing up and down the front of
cage. She said they would come back new if they fell out. Is this true?

Approximately what age do cockatiels start breeding?  I have a 4+ year
old male and had purchased what we thought was another male a few months
ago.  Turns out, Mo is Ma.  So should I start worrying about a nesting
box or anything right away?  The female is about 6-7 months old.  ...

    does anybody here playfight with their bird? mine is typically
very loveable - but occasionally she gets a little full of hell and
seems to want to playfight - never really hurts me - just gets very
rowdy... playfighting is the best way to describe it
