Just found this group, so please excuse if we are off topic. We are currently interested in getting an African grey (congo) and were wondereingif there are any breeders or persons who are selling in the Dallas Tx Area. Ay help or advise is appreciated.

Coming out of lurker mode to announce the arrival of our new CAG, "Gibson"! He is our first Grey and what a fine specimen "he" is. Anyway, I am a newbie parrot owner. I've had small birds before but nothing of this magnitude.

I'm going to pick up my bird today. Called the person Im buying from and she said he had messed his tail feathers up by climbing up and down the front of cage. She said they would come back new if they fell out. Is this true? Patty

does anybody here playfight with their bird? mine is typically very loveable - but occasionally she gets a little full of hell and seems to want to playfight - never really hurts me - just gets very rowdy... playfighting is the best way to describe it
