I am new to this newsgroup and have 4 cockatiels.  I was looking for a
real
time chat room to talk to you all, but i couldn't find one with out

Hey all, send me a picture or two of your favorite tiels and i can put them
online for a little while, lets show each other our birds, if you send me
any i will name the title of the picture of who you are, so we know whos is
who.

I'm dropping this newsgroup from my reader. This used to be a great ng to learn
and share information about my Grey, but now no one can post anything without
someone calling them names just because they don't share the same opinion.
I will miss some of you, but the rest of you need ...

I pick up my new Grey tomorrow. He's 14 months old and doesnt like women,
(think I'll call him tony).
I've got his cage ready and will be buying lots of toys on sunday at the
National.

The more I think about it, the more I want to get a second tiel as a friend
to my female Lutino, Poppy. It'll have to be another female because I'm not
interested in mating. I just want a companion for Poppy. What are the
implications of introducing a new bird? How have you gone ...

I met a woman today with a lively parrot she'd like to give away.  She
inherited it, so she has no idea what kind it is, but from her
description it may be a Green.

Can cockatiels tolerate cold weather?
We turn heat down at night and it gets to about 70 degrees any problem for

After all these months with Yanco, it has become clear that the long
hours associated with my new job aren't doing Yanco a bit of good.

I was wondering, what is the age for a female laying its first egg?
I'm partly curious as I've just lost my dear cockatiel, Jenny, at the
weekend and we had only had her for just over 2 years.  I'm not sure how old
she was when we bought her but she must have been at least a few ...
