| How long till eggs hatch? | 30 Jun 2004 22:09 GMT | 7 |
I haven't been counting the days since my cockatiel has laid her 7 eggs, but it seems like forever. She only sits on the eggs so and so, from my observations. When shall I expect the eggs to hatch, if ever?

| Friendly Grey? | 27 Jun 2004 13:19 GMT | 6 |
I'm entertaining the idea of getting an African Grey Parrot and spent some time with one at a pet shop today. This baby Grey was very friendly and actually walked on my hand twice. Is this friendly unusual behavior for a Grey?

Tonight on Rona Downey's show on PAX called "Miracles" was a story about an African Grey named "Rupert". The lady who owned "him" and Rupert were very close and Rupert was a great friend to her. One night after she put him into his cage and went to bed she heard him

| My poor plucking parrot update | 21 Jun 2004 18:26 GMT | 1 |
It's been a couple of weeks since we moved Sydney back into her little cage. It's too soon I supose to tell what benefits the move has had. I will say she has lots of feathers coming in, the question is will she pluck or let these stay. So far, so good.

Named her 'Polly' after all.First 24 hours she was terrified.Growled, screams, bashed about in her cage etc. Last thing at night, I open the stairs door to let the 2 little bed dogs up, then close the door turn out the light and say "night night" to each bird in turn and wait for ...

| Grace Plucking (2) | 21 Jun 2004 04:33 GMT | 2 |
Thanks for your replies. No, she is not left alone, we are together all the time because I write and I write in my room where she lives. She gets lots of attention. I have not given her enough fresh fruits, I fear, for she turned up her beak at them over the last couple of years. ...

| I have a Grey | 20 Jun 2004 01:49 GMT | 4 |
Since this is a Grey newsgroup ( in theory). I thought I would ask everyone about their birds. My Dusty is 5 1/2 years old. She is a female. She has a huge vocabulary. She began to talk at about 7 months of age. When did your birds begin talking ( if they talk). How old were they ...

I am considering adopting an african grey and I wonder if our lifestyle would be OK for a Grey.. Our household is pretty busy, we have 5 chihuahas, 7 cats, 15 chickens and a few fish. Some of the chickens are bantam pets roaming freely in and out the

| Gibson... | 18 Jun 2004 00:46 GMT | 15 |
My 14 month old Grey is a little weird lately. He has always bonded with me alone. Family could pick him up if he flew down to the floor from where ever he was perched. Gibson is always out of his cage when I am home, he hangs with us and I take

| Lovebird age | 14 Jun 2004 22:59 GMT | 57 |
I have acquired a Lovebird. Not by choice but because I found it flying around where I work - long story but basically I rescued it from an inevitable death. Someone somewhere may have been cleaning him out and was stupid enough to have a window open? I have a Lineolated Parakeet ...
