Scam or No Scam? Parrots31 Jul 2004 02:01 GMT1
I advertised a bird at birdsnways and have gotten many replies that make me
suspicious. Many are from Europe and claim they have their own "shipping
agent." The fact that so many were the same made me wary? Does anybody know
anything about this? I know about the cashier's check ...

I my have messed up - NEED ADVICE30 Jul 2004 05:07 GMT1
Okay... my african grey girl is 8 years old. She totally loves to chew
on wood and cardboard. So about 1 month ago I decided to put a shoe
box in her cage at the bottom. This seemed great right off the bat as
she chewed it up and hid inside of it. I thought she just liked it and

Quick Cockatiel Question....27 Jul 2004 01:24 GMT5
Had my birdie's wings clipped this past weekend.....THIS she is used to.
However, at the same time the vet clipped her "toenails" as well.  The
problem here is that now not only can she NOT fly, she also can't seem to
get a grip on anything.  She is a big shoulder rider, but just ...

those stupid Enzyte commercials22 Jul 2004 23:01 GMT13
...with the whistling in them.  Anybody heard these?  Our bird just LOVES to
sing along.
If my in-laws show up and the bird is whistling a friggin' hard-on pill
commercial, I won't live it down for awhile.
Ceiling fans forever!22 Jul 2004 04:22 GMT19
Riding ceiling fans for a cockatiel or other small and fast pet is a great
pastime and they may love it. Mine never want to get off once the try it.
Wing Clipping?20 Jul 2004 18:40 GMT4
By the way Part Two: I am of two minds about wing clipping. I've read and
studied the pros and cons, the...uh...opinions. Ruight now Grace is clipped
(at the vets) because when I had her on my shoulder last month walking to
the car, she got startled and flew off. She landed on the ...

Parrot toys18 Jul 2004 21:08 GMT4
We have a beautiful Alexandrine named Siddartha (Sid for short). He
loves to play and chew but seems to tire of his toys quickly. Going to
the pet store for toys can be quite expensive. Does anyone have any
recommendations for cheap toys for a parrot.
